Foreign Placement Financing

International BAföG

An international BAföG is one option available to help students fund their foreign placement. The stay abroad has to be at least one semester in length and, to be eligible to apply, the students have to be enrolled on a specialised higher education course of at least two years in length, at a vocational college, academy or university.

The BAföG application can only be made to the Office for Educational Support in the destination country.
