IN International Tourism & Event management

The Master’s program provides specific expertise in tourism and event management as well as an understanding of the general principles of business administration with an international outlook.

In the first and second semester, you will learn about interdisciplinary aspects of international tourism and event management, international business management, and advanced management. You will spend the third semester abroad before returning to complete the degree in the fourth semester, most of which is dedicated to the Master’s thesis. All program content is taught in English.

In order to start a Master’s program at the Hochschule Fresenius, you must fulfill the applicable admission criteria. In this context, we check the completion of your first academic degree, your final grade, the content of your preliminary studies and your language skills.

You can use the application forms to submit a non-binding application. Applications can be submitted all year round. After that you will receive an email with your individual login details.

Submitting your application documents
You will find an upload section on the online application portal with the documents required for enrollment. The only thing needed by post is a certified copy of your university entrance qualification. The only other thing we need to decide whether to admit you to the study program is your guided statement of motivation. All other documents required for enrollment can be submitted after the application procedure.

If you are accepted for the study program, our administration team will send you a study contract. Please sign the forms and return them within 14 days, since we cannot guarantee your university place beyond the 14-day limit.

You’ll also spend the third semester of your Master’s program in International Tourism & Event Management (M.A.) abroad in a non-German-speaking country, where you’ll complete an internship in order to familiarize yourself with your chosen professional fields and to gain vocational experience by participating in specific work processes.
