Master of Science in International Pharmacoeconomics & Health Economics

Objective:

To provide education and training for candidates who wish to develop skills and knowledge in pharmacoeconomics and health economics.

Language:

The programme is completely delivered in the English language.

Schools Involved:

The programme is offered by the Welsh School of Pharmacy at Cardiff University and leads to a Cardiff University award. The programme is jointly delivered by the Hochschule Fresenius - University of Applied Sciences and Cardiff University at the Hochschule Fresenius - University of Applied Sciences in Idstein, Germany. The course is not available for study in Cardiff.

Mode of Study:

Full-time (4 semesters) or part-time (6 semesters)

Structure:

The course extends for four semesters (full-time students) or six semesters (part-time students) and consists of modules to the value of 240 Cardiff University Credits (CATS*), which include a dissertation of 60 CATS credits and healthcare/pharmaceutical industry placement of 60 CATS credits. Students completing 240 CATS will be eligible for a Master degree.
*240 CATS (Credit Accumulation and Transfer Scheme) are equivalent to 120 ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System)
