Logistics is one of the most important sectors of the German economy – every industry is reliant on logistics in one way or another.
Lectures usually take place on two evenings of the week and on Saturdays.

The part-time Bachelor’s study program in Logistics and Retail offers a very good interdisciplinary basis that will equip its graduates to meet the requirements of modern logistics and retail companies. Entrance requirements

To be admitted to a degree course at the Fresenius University of Applied Sciences, applicants must prove that they have the necessary qualifications (university entrance qualification). These need to be demonstrated as follows:

  • general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) - entitlement to study at all universities in every German state, or
  • subject-related higher education entrance qualification - entitlement to study in the corresponding specialist field and in the German state as given in the certificate, or
  • university entrance qualification certificate - entitlement to study at a technical university or to attend a phased study course at a university in the German state as given in the certificate.

Application procedure

You can apply via the Hochschule Fresenius online applicant portal. This is a quick and easy way to apply for your preferred study program or training.

Applicants must submit all of the following documents by uploading them to the online applicant portal:

  • Guided statement of motivation (available to download from the applicant portal)
  • Optional: References (e.g. certificates and appraisals for social engagement)
  • Signed CV in table form
  • Declaration of consent (available to download from the applicant portal)
  • Health insurance certificate or exemption certificate if applicable (download)
  • Copy of personal identification (front and back)
  • Recent photo for student ID
  • Optional: Record of achievement (only if previous studies are to be credited)
  • Optional: For business training already completed or completed in the first semester
  • IHK certificate or training contract (starts in 2nd semester) (link to list of traineeships)
  • Optional: Non-business training: Final transcript or training contract (starts in 1st semester)

Certified copy by post:

  •     University entrance qualification (“Abitur” certificate or equivalent documents)

Fees and financing options

Hochschule Fresenius is a privately run higher education institution whose programs are recognized but not funded by the state. Therefore, we must charge fees for our programs.

  • Cost: 275 EUR per month
  • Regular duration of study: 42 months*
